Ride Gudauri Terms and Conditions
General Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings and services provided by Ride Gudauri, including ski lessons, adventure activities, transportation services, and other services offered through Ride Gudauri.
By making a booking or participating in an activity arranged through Ride Gudauri, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Bookings
Bookings may be made through our website, email, phone, WhatsApp, or other communication channels approved by Ride Gudauri.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when making a booking, including:
Name and contact details
Number of participants
Preferred activity
Requested date and time
Any relevant information that may affect participation
A booking is considered confirmed once Ride Gudauri has confirmed the reservation and any applicable booking fee has been paid.
Service Booking Fees
Different booking fees may apply depending on the service.
Ski School Services
A booking fee equal to 20% of the total service amount may be charged when booking ski school services.
Other Activities
For other activities, a booking fee generally ranging from 50 GEL to 200 GEL per activity session may apply depending on the selected activity or package.
The exact booking fee will be communicated before the reservation is confirmed.
Non-Refundable Booking Fees
Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing, booking fees are non-refundable.
This includes cancellations or rescheduling requested by the customer and situations where an activity cannot proceed because of weather conditions or other circumstances outside Ride Gudauri’s reasonable control.
Where possible, Ride Gudauri may offer an alternative date, activity, or arrangement, depending on availability and the circumstances.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance for the service is paid at the meeting point before the activity begins.
Payment methods may include:
Cash
Credit card
Debit card
Other payment methods approved by Ride Gudauri
Specific payment arrangements may vary depending on the activity or service provider.
Customers should confirm the applicable payment details with Ride Gudauri before participating.
Cancellation by the Customer
Customers should notify Ride Gudauri of any cancellation or requested change as early as possible.
Cancellation requests may be made by contacting Ride Gudauri using the contact details provided on our website.
Booking fees already paid are generally non-refundable.
Where no advance payment has been made, no refund will be applicable, but early notification is still requested so that Ride Gudauri can manage instructors, equipment, transport, and activity providers efficiently.
Rescheduling
Requests to change the date or time of a booking are subject to availability.
Ride Gudauri will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee that the requested alternative date or time will be available.
Additional costs may apply if a third-party provider charges for changing or rearranging a reservation.
Weather and Activity Conditions
Many Ride Gudauri services depend on weather, snow, road, mountain, or other environmental conditions.
Activities may be changed, delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled where conditions are considered unsafe or unsuitable.
Safety decisions may be made by Ride Gudauri, instructors, guides, pilots, transportation providers, or other qualified activity providers.
Ride Gudauri cannot guarantee that weather-dependent activities will take place exactly as scheduled.
Third-Party Activity Providers
Some activities offered or arranged through Ride Gudauri may be operated by independent third-party companies or professionals.
Examples may include:
Paragliding
Snowmobiling
Transportation
Equipment rental
Specialized guiding services
Other adventure activities
Ride Gudauri may coordinate the booking and communication between the customer and the relevant provider.
Customers may also be required to accept additional terms, waivers, or safety rules imposed by the activity provider.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants must:
Follow instructions provided by Ride Gudauri staff, instructors, guides, pilots, drivers, or activity providers
Act responsibly and avoid behavior that may endanger themselves or others
Use safety equipment as instructed
Provide accurate information relevant to participation
Arrive at the agreed meeting point at the agreed time
Inform the relevant instructor or provider of any issue that may affect safe participation
A service provider may refuse participation where a participant’s behavior creates a safety risk or significantly disrupts the activity.
Safety
Adventure and mountain activities involve inherent risks.
Ride Gudauri and its service partners take reasonable precautions to provide services safely; however, participants acknowledge that activities such as skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, snowmobiling, and other mountain activities may involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions.
Insurance
All guests are strongly advised to maintain appropriate travel and activity insurance for the services they participate in.
Insurance should be suitable for the specific activity and, where relevant, should include coverage for:
Medical treatment
Hospitalization
Mountain rescue
Emergency evacuation
Helicopter rescue
Accident-related costs
Activity cancellation where applicable
Participants are responsible for ensuring that their insurance provides appropriate coverage.
Photography and Video
Photos and videos may be taken during certain Ride Gudauri activities.
Such materials may occasionally be used for promotional purposes, including on our website or social media platforms.
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional photography or video should inform Ride Gudauri staff before the activity begins.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings during activities and transportation.
Ride Gudauri is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to Services
Ride Gudauri may make reasonable changes to activity schedules, meeting points, instructors, transportation arrangements, routes, or activity providers when required for operational, weather, safety, or availability reasons.
Where a significant change occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer.
Limitation of Responsibility
Ride Gudauri will make reasonable efforts to ensure that bookings and services are provided as described.
However, Ride Gudauri is not responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or changes caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:
Severe weather
Unsafe mountain conditions
Road closures
Transport disruption
Government restrictions
Natural events
Equipment or infrastructure problems outside our control
Actions or decisions of independent third-party service providers
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
Privacy
Personal information collected during bookings and communication is handled in accordance with the Ride Gudauri Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with instructors, transportation companies, activity providers, payment providers, or other partners where necessary to provide the booked service.
Changes to These Terms
Ride Gudauri may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will be published on our website.
The Terms and Conditions applicable to a booking will normally be those in effect at the time the booking is confirmed unless otherwise required by law.
